As a new girl myself I found I was continuously the target of time-wasting idiots. You don't want to be dressed and ready for fun and find that your date does a 'no show' on you so - check out these few simple rules and you will find that though you get less dates the ones you do get actually show up.

OK Rule 1 - don't rush into this if your new - take your time select your date with care and don't be tempted to rush in and seem too eager. You will seem desperate and consequently the target of time-wasting idiots.

Rule 2 - Don't take a date from the first person who you privates you on the board. Real girls play hard to get. You have to as well.
So be nice, invite the person to chat further and see where you go.
Even if the guy seems really genuine don't take a date until after a few chats. Don't worry there's always more admirers than girls so you wont miss out on anything except perhaps a dickhead.
NEVER even consider a date without a pic ESPECIALLY if its another girl. If she wont show a pic then its a good bet that Sex Kitten Suzie is in fact Sad Bunny Simon complete with tank top and pipe and for sure wont be showing up on the day.

Rule 3- There are cybersex folk in chat - they want the fun of talking filthy to you and maybe you like the fun of it as well. Cybersexers will almost NEVER show up on a date. They get their thrills online. So if the other party has been talking to/at you in a cybersex style the chances are they will run from a meeting. Not always but if they are cybersexing you must be tougher on the dating rules.

Rule 4 - OK you have chatted over a few days and you seem to be getting on. You and the guy/girl want a meet. Go for a phone conversation and see how they sound. If your happy you can fix a date up.

Rule 5 - If its an admirer let HIM book the hotel and let HIM pay for the room. NEVER EVER invite an admirer to your place until after a first meeting at least and don't go to his either. You want to have fun - not get hurt.
You should arrange that he books a room at a hotel and calls you to give you the room booking confirmation details. Once you have those you can check before the date if the rooms booked. You need to check this before you set out too in case he has cancelled.
Usually after 4 P.M. on the day hotels will debit his card whether he shows or not.
It doesn't help you if he doesn't but at least you know he just got hit on his card for nothing when he could have had your company.
Actually if the guy is happy to do this chances are he is serious and will show.

T-Girls will almost always show on a date so if your going girl on girl you may be able to relax rule 5 a bit especially if they have pics and you have chatted and they seem genuine.

Rule 6 - Sometimes things can go wrong on the day. If you find you cant make the date PLEASE let the other party know in reasonable time. If that's not possible then its only common courtesy to call and apologize.
