Melanie was out and about up North recently (see the other article on CP Photographic) and made some time to drop in and see Caroline at Cathouse Clothing for tea, a chat and of course to buy some more latex wear..........
Cathouse have been around for simply ages and lots of pro-dommes I know have at least a few items from Caroline.
My first outfit (in latex) when I came out was from Cathouse and over the past few months I have bought more and more of my clothes from Cathouse so while up North on a photoshoot I dropped in to meet Caroline personally.

Caroline is located in Liversedge, which is between Leeds, Bradford & Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. After offering me a cup of tea Caroline gave me a quick tour of the shop which is packed with fabulous gear.

Cathouse stocks a range of clothing from other suppliers such as Daxine, Kaos, Misfitz, Honour, Pigalle, Phaze, Voller's Corsets, Axford’s Corsets, Sin Central, Voodoo Rising, Tentacle, Interleather, Michelex, Rubber Monkey, Arena, Omen, Skin Two, Combination, The Federation, Craig Morrison ‘Bug’ bags and Affordable Leather as well as making up from Carolines own designs.

Caroline is a real honey and has made some of her stuff to my measurements to get the best fit and also amended the designs a little to suit the requirements of us T-Girls a little better. See the pics of me and my Cathouse wardrobe and I describe any mods made to the dresses and you can of course see what the clothes look like on a t-girl rather than a GG.

Caroline was very busy on the day I visited but took a little time out to take a quick interview with me.

I started off asking her how she got started "After finishing my fashion course at college I fell straight into a job designing similar clothing. After working there for a couple of years and realizing I wasn't happy with the way it was going, I decided to start up on my own. I originally started from home until it got going. I was doing party plan and had quite a few centre spread features in the daily sport as well as local papers and other publications. After about a year of working from home I moved into the premises where I still am today all told Cathouse has been around for nearly 10 years."
Its amazing how far Caroline has come in that time in a
business where people come and go, she is obviously a very talented and determined person and it comes across when you talk to her even though she is very chatty and friendly. She also models some of her designs on the Cathouse site - I asked if she was a fetish wearer herself "Oh Yes - I got into the goth scene when I was about 14 and loved all the black clothes, unusual jewellery and back-combed hair. It was a progression from that. I originally started the business as goth & alternative wear and it gradually changed to fetish clothing over a couple of years as there was a big demand for it"
With the shop and online ordering being so busy I asked her what she does to de-stress- for Melanie of course shopping is my therapy but of course if you own the store thats a hard one to do, Caroline laughs delightfully "I don’t have time for hobbies as my job is my hobby really. I love music so I love going to gigs with my boyfriend, Peter , who also works with me" Peter wasn't around when I was there so I never got to meet him - Caroline may have hidden him in case he was smitten by my charms but I doubt it. With so much choice for her own wardrobe I asked Caroline what her favorite outfits were like - shame I didn't get to see her wardrobe -Caroline said she doesn't really have dresses as such preferring separates with corsets so she can mix and match especially with corsets. For practical wear ? "Rubber is my favorite but PVC is a good daytime alternative. I love corsets, black & red rubber and fake fur." Well I think Mel certainly met her match here in the latex department. Carolines a Capricorn by the way but claimed she doesn't believe in that stuff while laughing. I suspected a fetish store may have some funny stories to tell but Caroline being discrete wouldn't tell though she did say she got asked for an autograph by someone who was sure she was in a vampire movie - Now she mentions it she DOES look like one of those gorgeous actresses Hammer used to feature in the 60s and 70s.
Anyway with time running short and Carolines phone going bananas I decided what to buy - thanked Caroline for her time and departed with ANOTHER latex dress. I have bought a fair bit from Cathouse and can totally recommend them to other t-girls or indeed GGs and guys. If you lover rubber, PVC and leather Cathouse have a great range at very reasonable prices. You can see some of my Cathouse outfits below
This is the first outfit I bought from Cathouse its a red latex mini dress from Cathouses own range with a Vollers PVC waist clincher. This was the outfit I very first went out clubbing in and still one of my favourites. I also have one of the dresses in black as well.
If your a T-Girl buying its as well to have one made to order as we T-Girls usually aren't quite rounded enough to fill one of these out round the hips.
Lovely string sided skirt in latex.
If you go of one of these its worth going down a size if you want to show lots of leg. I have two - one from when I was a size bigger than now.
Its a great skirt as it will go with a more staid top or with a fetish top.
Buckle dress in black PVC - this is one of my all time favourites - again its a Cathouse designed and made item. The quality is fabulous and its very comfortable to wear and easy to get on in a hurry.
I mostly wear this for when not clubbing to the max as its very comfy and quite flattering to a slightly less than perfect figure.
Heres the outfit I bought on the day from Caroline. Its a red latex dress with a string back. It has a zip on the front so its quite easy to get into and out of and you can of course decide how tight you want it by adjusting the laces. Its a lovely dress but you do need fairly flat tum to make it work. Also for t girls the basic design has quite a low scoop at the front. Caroline will change the design a little and reduce the depth of the scoop a bit so you can get your breast forms in without them showing at all. The outfit to end them all - this is a one piece long dress in latex and colored in metallic purple. Its set off with a rubber waist clincher from Cathouse plus leatherette opera gloves and a boa I picked up at a market. If you go for the clincher don't forget to go down a few inches cos you will need it to compress you a bit. Rubber being stretchy you need to have it at least 4" smaller than your actual waist measurement. Once again apart from the boa and shoes it all came from Cathouse. My newest outfit from Cathouse. Lovely lkatex dress with a pink flourescent front panel. The front has ''O' rings with a lace.

I had Caroline make this to my measurements and I just LOVE this dress. Partly because I have dieted down enough to wear a latex dress without the overlaying corset that I usually wear.

The pink colored panel just makes it soooooo femme.
